A cheap and natural way to clean your home

Easy to make, this potent cleaner cuts through dirt

The herbs and fruits are known for their naturally disinfecting, antibacterial and antimicrobial properties

Specially chosen aromatherapy oils add power to the punch

Ingredients:

Makes 500ml

1 Grapefruit

1 Lemon

A Few Sprigs of Thyme

Lavender

1 Cup (approx. 240ml) White Vinegar

1 Cup (approx. 240ml) Water & Vodka - I use about 2/3 cup (160 ml) water and 1/3 cup (80ml) vodka, but you can drop the vodka and just use a full cup of water if you like

10 drops of Grapefruit Essential Oil

10 drops of Lemon Essential Oil

10 drops of Tea Tree Essential Oil

10 drops of Oregano Essential Oil

10 drops of On Guard Essential Oil

10 drops of Purify Essential Oil

Directions:

Juice and peel the grapefruit and lemon

Add, with the sprigs of thyme and lavender, to a jug and fill with white vinegar

Cover with a non-metallic lid and leave to infuse for at least 24 hours

Strain the mixture

Add the water and vodka mix

Add the essential oils

Funnel into the spray bottle

500ml amber glass spray bottle – amber protects the ingredients from light damage and the glass is non-toxic and recyclable
